Teach adults who actually want to be in the room. If you’ve spent years teaching Business or Management and you’re starting to feel like the system is working against you - chasing attendance, fighting paperwork, watching potential go to waste - this role is built for the opposite of that.
We’re hiring an experienced Business Management Tutor at Pathway Group to deliver to adult learners on the Advanced Learner Loans programme. These are people who’ve actively chosen to invest in their own progression. They show up. They want the qualification. Your job is to make sure they get it - and that the experience changes something for them.
What the role actually looks like
You’ll deliver Level 3 and above Business and Management qualifications to adult cohorts, plan sessions that meet awarding organisation standards without being painful to sit through, assess work properly, and keep the records the funding rules demand. You’ll work alongside a quality team that does the heavy lifting on compliance so you can focus on teaching. We deliver to Ofsted standards because we expect to, not because someone’s coming to check.
You’ll Fit This Role If You Have
- Real occupational experience in Business Management or Business Administration you’ve actually done the work and not just taught it
- A track record delivering vocational or adult education that learners actually finished
- A Level 3 teaching qualification or equivalent (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE)
- A current assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, D32/33 or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of Advanced Learner Loans funding rules - or the discipline to learn them fast
- Confidence with digital systems, e-portfolios and Microsoft Office
- The patience and clarity to remove barriers, not add to them
What you get back
You’ll be joining a provider that’s been doing this properly for years - Pathway Group operates across skills training, apprenticeships and adult education with the systems, compliance support and quality framework you need to teach well. You’ll have the autonomy to deliver your way, the back-office to take the admin burden off your desk, and the credibility of working for a name that learners, employers and awarding bodies already trust.
If that sounds like the kind of place you’ve been looking for, apply with your CV. We read every application.
