We are looking for an experienced Beauty Tutor, Assessor and IQA to support the delivery, assessment and quality assurance of beauty qualifications on a freelance contract basis. This role would suit someone who is confident delivering beauty programmes, assessing learner work, maintaining compliance standards and supporting high quality learner outcomes. The successful candidate must hold relevant beauty qualifications, an assessing qualification and an IQA qualification.

You will play a key role in ensuring learners receive strong teaching, clear assessment support and a high quality learning experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective beauty training sessions to learners.
  • Assess learner work in line with awarding body and internal quality requirements.
  • Carry out IQA activity where required to support quality and compliance.
  • Support learners to complete their qualification within planned timescales.
  • Maintain accurate learner records, assessment paperwork and compliance documentation.
  • Provide constructive feedback to learners to support progression and achievement.
  • Work closely with curriculum, quality and operations teams to ensure delivery is quality focused, compliant and impactful.
  • Support with standardisation activity and continuous improvement where required.
Mandatory Requirements
  • Relevant beauty qualifications.
  • Recognised assessing qualification, such as TAQA, A1, CAVA or equivalent.
  • Recognised IQA qualification, such as V1, IQA or equivalent.
  • Experience delivering and assessing beauty qualifications.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently on a freelance contract basis.
  • Available full time, 5 days per week, for a minimum of 2 months.
Desirable
  • Experience working with adult learners.
  • Experience supporting fast paced funded or commercial delivery.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
