Pathway Academy Zone is a new Alternative Provision supporting young people aged 11–16 with SEND and SEMH needs. We are establishing a provision built on structure, high expectations, and clear outcomes. The focus is on re-engagement, behaviour, and progression, not simply attendance.
We are seeking a Chair of Governors to lead the governing body from the outset. This is a key leadership role, responsible for setting standards, providing strategic oversight, and ensuring the provision delivers meaningful outcomes for young people.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop the governing body with clarity and direction
- Work closely with senior leadership to provide both support and appropriate challenge
- Ensure strong oversight of quality of education, safeguarding, and learner outcomes
