Pathway Group is looking for a skilled and motivated Early Years Tutor to deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to learners on our Path2 Early Years 4-week cohort programmes. If you’re passionate about early years education and enjoy helping learners progress into employment or further training, we’d love to hear from you.
About The Role
You’ll plan and deliver intensive, structured cohort-based courses, ensuring learners stay engaged, supported and on track throughout the programme. You’ll confidently deliver to groups, adapt your approach to meet individual needs, and ensure all delivery meets awarding organisation, funding and Ofsted requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging teaching aligned to Early Years standards and Path2 requirements
- Assess learner knowledge, skills and behaviours
- Monitor attendance, engagement and progress
- Identify and address barriers to learning
- Maintain accurate learner records and evidence
- Prepare learners for assessments and positive destinations
- Embed safeguarding, professionalism and employability skills
- Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to achieve positive outcomes
