A highly regarded and prestigious law firm in Belfast City Centre is seeking a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join their busy Property and Private Client team, with a focus on both residential conveyancing and probate matters. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established practice with a strong reputation, working alongside experienced solicitors in a supportive and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion
- Handle probate and estate administration matters, including applications for Grants of Probate/Letters of Administration
- Draft and review legal documentation including contracts, transfers, and probate paperwork
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors in a professional and timely manner
- Conduct title checks, searches, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements
- Assist senior solicitors on more complex matters where required
- Maintain accurate case records and manage deadlines effectively
- Deliver high standards of client care throughout all transactions
Essential Skills and Experience
- Recently qualified Solicitor (02 years PQE)
- Strong interest or experience in conveyancing and/or probate law
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage a busy and varied workload
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Proactive, motivated, and eager to develop within a reputable firm
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
