A well-established, highly respected and long-standing medium-sized law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to support one of their Partners within a busy and fast-paced litigation team. This is a key support role requiring strong prior litigation experience, ideally including personal injury and general litigation matters. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the Partner's caseload and providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing full secretarial support to a Litigation Partner
  • Typing dictation, correspondence, pleadings and legal documents
  • Managing diaries, arranging meetings and coordinating court deadlines
  • Handling incoming calls and liaising with clients, counsel, courts and insurers
  • Preparing court bundles and supporting case progression from instruction through to resolution
  • File management, including opening, closing and maintaining accurate records
  • Assisting with billing, time recording and general administrative duties
  • Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within required timeframes in a fast-paced environment

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary within litigation is essential
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury and general litigation processes
  • Excellent typing and audio transcription skills
  • High level of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and work to tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems (desirable)
