Our client is a busy and prestigious firm of solicitors based in Lisburn, well-regarded for delivering high-quality legal services across a range of practice areas. The firm is seeking a Solicitor to join its Litigation team, with the opportunity to work on a varied caseload including general litigation and some matrimonial and family law matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor who enjoys variety in their work and values the opportunity to develop broad expertise within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of general litigation matters, including civil disputes, personal injury, and other contentious work.
- Handle matrimonial and family law cases as required.
- Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients and manage cases from instruction through to resolution.
- Draft and review legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
- Conduct legal research and prepare cases for hearing.
- Represent clients at court and liaise with counsel where appropriate.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional and responsive service.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Qualified Solicitor (1-4 years PQE ideal, but all levels considered).
- Experience in general litigation, with an interest or some exposure to family/matrimonial work.
- Strong technical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
