This role will support a busy Conveyancing Solicitor and would suit an experienced legal secretary who enjoys working in a fast-paced property environment and can confidently manage a varied workload.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing full secretarial support to a busy Conveyancing Solicitor.
- Preparing legal documents, correspondence and reports.
- Opening and closing client files.
- Assisting with all stages of residential property transactions.
- Managing diaries, appointments and key deadlines.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties.
- Handling telephone and email enquiries professionally.
- Preparing completion documentation and related paperwork.
- Maintaining accurate file records and case management systems.
Administrative & PA Duties
- Managing the Solicitor's diary and scheduling meetings.
- Organising files and ensuring documentation is up to date.
- Assisting with billing and general office administration.
- Monitoring deadlines and prioritising workloads effectively.
- Providing administrative support to the wider team as required.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Conveyancing or Residential Property.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong audio and copy typing abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
