Overview
Pathway Legal is working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Derry to recruit a Personal Injury Solicitor.
This opportunity has arisen through expansion. The firm currently has a team of 30 staff working across plaintiff personal injury litigation, offering the opportunity to join a substantial, specialist practice with a varied caseload.
The role would suit a solicitor with personal injury experience who is keen to develop their career with access to ongoing training, mentoring and support.
The Role
You will manage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury claims from initial instruction through to resolution. Responsibilities will include:
- Advising clients throughout the claims process.
- Preparing legal documentation and progressing claims efficiently.
- Liaising with insurers, medical experts and other legal professionals.
- Negotiating settlements and achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Delivering a high standard of client care.
The Person
- Qualified as a Solicitor in Northern Ireland, or eligible to practise in Northern Ireland.
- Experience in personal injury litigation.
- Strong communication, negotiation and case management skills.
- An organised, proactive and client-focused approach.
- Comfortable managing your own caseload and working collaboratively with colleagues.
