We are working with a leading commercial law firm in Belfast that is looking to expand its Corporate Team. They are seeking a few new team members across different PQE levels, from 1-10 years. This is an exciting opportunity for solicitors with transactional corporate experience or commercial contracts experience with some exposure to corporate deals to join a dynamic and growing team working on high-value matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting on a variety of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and company re-organisations.
- Drafting and negotiating SPAs, investment agreements, shareholder agreements, and other commercial contracts.
- Advising corporate clients across a range of sectors.
- Supporting senior lawyers on complex corporate projects.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to team development.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Qualified solicitor with transactional corporate or commercial contracts experience.
- PQE range: 1-10 years.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills.
- Excellent client management and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ambition to develop further in corporate transactions (particularly relevant for more junior candidates).
