Pathway Legal is delighted to be working with a highly respected and long-established law firm based in North Belfast in the appointment of a Solicitor to join their Private Client team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified Solicitor up to 5 years PQE who is keen to develop a long-term career specialising in Wills and Probate within a prestigious and supportive practice. The successful candidate will join a well-regarded firm with a strong reputation for client care and high-quality legal services across Northern Ireland. The role offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload while working closely with experienced practitioners in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Wills & Estate Planning
- Drafting Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Trust documentation
- Advising clients on estate planning and succession matters
- Providing clear and practical advice tailored to clients' individual circumstances
- Probate & Estate Administration
- Managing probate and estate administration files from instruction through to completion
- Preparing applications for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions and third parties throughout the process
- Client Relationship Management
- Delivering an exceptional standard of client service
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Handling sensitive matters with professionalism and empathy
Essential Skills and Experience
- Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland or due to qualify shortly
- NQ to 5 years PQE with exposure to Private Client, Wills or Probate work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and file management abilities
- Ability to manage a varied caseload independently and efficiently
- A genuine interest in developing a specialist career in Wills and Probate
