Pathway is partnering with a well-established boutique law firm in East Belfast, specialising in Litigation, Motor Claims, Credit Hire, and Personal Injury Litigation. The firm is seeking a Motor Claims Solicitor to join them initially on a 6‑month secondment, working on‑site with a key client. Following the secondment, the role will transition to the firm’s East Belfast office, with hybrid working available. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, respected firm, gain valuable client‑side experience, and secure a longer‑term role within a supportive and collaborative team. All levels of PQE will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied motor claims caseload, including RTA and associated litigation matters
- Handle files from inception through to resolution
- Advise clients on liability, quantum, and strategy
- Draft pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documentation
- Liaise with insurers, third parties, counsel, and internal stakeholders
- Work on‑site with the client during the secondment period, integrating into their processes and systems
- Ensure compliance with court rules, deadlines, and regulatory requirements
Essential Skills and Experience
- Qualified Solicitor (NQ–Senior PQE considered)
- Experience in motor claims, insurance litigation, or personal injury litigation
- Strong case management and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with a client‑focused approach
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
- Comfortable working on‑site during the secondment phase
