Pathway Recruitment is delighted to be working with a long-established and highly regarded law firm in North Down seeking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years' PQE. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive and progressive firm. The successful candidate will join an established practice with a strong reputation and loyal client base, undertaking predominantly private client work with some residential conveyancing.

The firm is open to speaking with candidates at different stages of their career, whether you are looking to progress through the ranks and help grow the department or are seeking a genuine route towards partnership and future equity opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a varied caseload of private client matters, including:
    • Wills
    • Probate and estate administration
    • Powers of Attorney
    • Estate planning
  • Handling residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion.
  • Providing practical and commercially focused advice to clients.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Assisting with the continued growth and development of the private client department.
  • Supporting business development initiatives and networking activities where appropriate.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland.
  • Minimum 4 years' PQE.
  • Strong experience in probate and estate administration.
  • Experience handling private client matters independently.
  • Residential conveyancing experience would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
  • A proactive and ambitious approach to career development.
