Our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Northern Ireland, is seeking a professional and organised Litigation Secretary to join their Antrim office. This role will primarily support the firm’s Medical Negligence and General Litigation teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to solicitors within the litigation team.
- Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and court forms.
- Manage diaries, meetings, and travel arrangements for solicitors.
- Liaise with clients, barristers, and external agencies efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain accurate case files and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Assist with billing, time recording, and general office administration as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a litigation secretary, ideally with exposure to medical negligence cases.
- Strong typing, document preparation, and proofreading skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Discretion, confidentiality, and a professional manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
