About the Role

Phlebotomy and pathology laboratory management within the Hertfordshire and West Essex NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB). The role involves working with a cohort of approximately 150 phlebotomists across various sites within East Northamptonshire Health Trust (ENHT). The role requires experience working in wards, OPD, community clinics, domiciliary and GP surgeries. Saturday and Sunday morning rota shifts are mandatory, and car driving is essential.

Key Duties

  • Work as a valued member of a motivated team with a patient care focus, maintaining professional and technical standards.
  • Take blood samples from in‑patients, out‑patients, GP surgeries, domiciliary and community settings.
  • Follow department SOPs and best practice at all times.
