The predicted salary is between 14800 - 18000 £ per year.

This is an exciting time to be joining our team based in Liverpool and being involved in supporting the port activities as a port operative. Our comprehensive range of port services, including rope handling, cargo loading/discharging and terminal management, has been pivotal in supporting the port and logistics sectors. This is a flexible opportunity and you may be requested to work day, evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with vessel load/discharge including cargo and passenger ships
  • Working as a slinger banksman
  • Traffic marshal duties

Qualifications:

  • Be at least 21 years old for insurance purposes
  • Have a full driving licence
  • Have valid Forklift and Telehandling tickets/licence
  • Have a minimum of 12 months can driving experience (in order to comply with our insurance) with no more than 6 points on the driving licence and no drink driving disqualifications
  • Smart appearance

Successful candidates will be expected to attend Health and Safety Induction and a car driving assessment. You will be subject to identification checks, referencing and DVLA checks. Competitive payment of £14.29 – £17.37 inclusive of holiday accrual and dependent on role. The opportunity to increase your earnings when desired – we have other roles available we could allocate you to once you register with us.
