Junior Software Engineer, Permanent
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + Benefits

Join a growing team delivering secure, React-based software solutions in a dynamic events environment. This is a hands-on Junior Software Engineer role offering variety, paid training, and real user impact, perfect for a JavaScript developer ready to grow.
You’ll work across both front-end and back-end projects, combining your React, React Native and JavaScript skills with client interaction and implementation support.
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing front-end and back-end components using JavaScript, React and React Native
- Supporting app builds, deployments and real-world integrations
- Working in a collaborative team with project managers and software engineers
- Handling customer feedback and technical queries directly
- Travelling to client sites around the UK (approx. 35%)
What you’ll need:
- Solid experience with JavaScript and React
- HTML, CSS and REST API integration skills
- Awareness of AWS, SQL and Git workflows
- Ideally, some familiarity or experience with React Native in a commercial or personal project context
- Exposure or awareness of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Confident communication style and interest in end-user needs
- Any experience with technical diagramming or user story mapping
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
