IT Support Engineer – VIP & Showroom Support (Luxury Retail)
Location: Central London (West End) | Contract: 6 months – Perm afterwards
We are supporting a global luxury retail brand in the search for an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide on-site support at their flagship Central London showroom. This VIP-facing, high-trust role focuses on maintaining a faultless technical environment for high-profile events and client visits.
The site hosts major retail partners for multi-million-pound commercial negotiations, and the IT presence acts as both preventative support and a safeguard against disruption. Outside event days, you’ll support other local offices and contribute to wider ad hoc projects across the London estate.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide proactive and responsive IT support in a VIP environment
- Maintain Windows devices, AV systems, and showroom technology to high standards
- Monitor, maintain, and improve workstation and connectivity readiness
- Escalate technical issues and contribute to change activity in collaboration with the wider infrastructure team
- Rotate between showroom and nearby offices (typically 4 days on-site, 1 day remote – 5 days onsite during a site event)
– 3+ years of 2nd line experience (touching on 3rd for local infrastructure), desktop, and VIP IT support
– Strong Microsoft knowledge and some experience supporting macOS or iOS in a business context (90/10 Microsoft bias)
– Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms
– Prior work in demanding environments (e.g., finance, legal, luxury retail, executive support)
– Strong technical knowledge of:
- Windows 10 / 11
- Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive)
- Active Directory and Azure AD
- SCCM and Intune for device imaging and deployment
- Microsoft Office 2016+
- Software deployment, patching, and device maintenance
- Basic networking: LAN patching, DNS/DHCP, Wi-Fi
- Video conferencing and AV equipment (Teams Rooms, Zoom, HDMI/display)
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Central London (West End). If you have the experience and service-led mindset to operate effectively in a high-visibility environment, we’d like to hear from you.
