TheMaintenanceMechanical Fitterwillwork on inspection, testing and repair ofmechanicalmachinery and equipment used within the technical tradetrainingworkshops, offices and classroomscovered by MKC Training estatesat the Royal School of Military Engineering(including Brompton, Wainscott and Maidstone).

The MaintenanceMechanical Fitterwill hold relevant qualifications such asan Apprenticeship or trainingwithC&G, NVQor equivalent, and will work on a variety of equipmentrequiring the following skills:
- Machine turning
- Milling
- Bench fitting
- Welding and brazing
- Sheet metal work
- Petrol and diesel engines/generators
- Pumps and hydraulics
- Servicing of small and large machines.
- Able to read and interpret engineering diagrams and charts.
- Ability to work at height
Full UK driving license is required.
