TheMaintenance Electricianwillwork on inspection, testing and repair of electrical machinery and equipment used within the technical trade workshops, offices and classrooms and carry out installation works in support of the training requirementscovered by MKC Training estates at the Royal School of Military Engineering (including Brompton, Wainscott and Maidstone).
The Maintenance Electricianrequiresrelevant qualifications such as C&G, NVQ,2391,18THEdition IET Regulations and will work on a variety of equipment to include:
- AC/DC motor and generators
- Maintenance and operation of LV switchgear
- Control gear and equipment
- Electric portable tools
- Welding machines
- Workshop wiring and distribution systems
- Fault findingon controls and equipment.
