We are seeking to appoint a Maternity Cover Level 1 Teaching Assistant.
Point 4 (FTE £25,185 per year, approx. £11,353 pro‑rated). Working 19.5 hours and 39 weeks – Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 8.30 am – 3.30 pm. Commencing September 2026.
About You
- Have experience of working with children and/or as a Teaching Assistant.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education.
- Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload.
- Be able to work cooperatively and communicate clearly with colleagues, parents and pupils.
- Have a ‘can‑do’ attitude and the ability to use initiative.
- Be able to work flexibly and professionally.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our team, working 19.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, with the required working hours being Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 8.30 am – 3.30 pm.
The purpose of this role is to provide pupils with classroom support.
