Lead Dev Ops Engineer Remote (UK Applicants Only - there will be an onsite final interview) £70,000 - £80,000 + Benefits Pack
Lead Dev Ops Engineer with team leadership, Kubernetes and multi-cloud experience required by an outsourced communications services organisation.

In this role youll take the lead of a small Dev Ops team, shaping how the team works, developing engineers and driving the technical direction of a growing cloud platform.

This is a hands-on leadership role supporting products across AWS, Azure and GCP.

Youll provide day-to-day direction to the team, establish consistent engineering standards and help build the teams capability, while working closely with development and infrastructure teams on resilient, cloud-native services.

Youll lead improvements across automation, Git Ops, infrastructure as code and CI/CD, reducing manual effort while improving observability, SLOs, security, resilience and reliability.

Youll also act as a senior escalation point for complex production issues and participate in the shared on-call rota.

Youll need: Significant production experience with at least two of AWS, Azure and GCP Deep production Kubernetes experience Strong Git Ops and infrastructure as code experience at scale CI/CD pipeline automation experience Extensive experience with declarative orchestration and configuration management Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 CI/CD Security Risks and embedding security controls into delivery pipelines Experience mentoring engineers, leading technical initiatives or acting as a technical lead Strong communication skills, including documenting standards and influencing engineering teams
