You'd be Path's first employee. At the start it's three of us: Tariq (founder & CEO), George (founder & CTO) and you. We're looking for the person who turns plans into things that actually ship, every week.

About Path

Your memories are your life story.

Path is an AI agent that helps you write the story of your life. A few minutes a week talking to Path is all it takes: the agent does the heavy lifting, capturing the stories, context and feelings behind the moments that matter, seamlessly turning them into beautifully written chapters, and attaching and clustering the relevant photos from your camera roll.

We're on iOS and running a hands-on testing programme with early users, building the evidence that Path is something people love and keep coming back to.

*Path.com domain acquired but being held back for GTM. Our current working domain is Path.Life

The role

This is a generalist role built around execution, not strategy. The founders set direction; you make it happen, and make it happen well.

There is no fixed remit and no team to delegate to yet. One week you're running user testing cohorts, the next you're chasing a release through QA or fixing the process that keeps slipping. If something needs doing and nobody owns it, you own it.

You’ll work side by side with both founders, set the weekly operating rhythm, and be the reason the company feels organised as it grows. This role is honest about what it isn’t: it isn't a seat to write the strategy deck. It's for someone who gets real satisfaction from closing loops.

What you'll do

  • Run the operating rhythm: weekly planning, priorities, owners and deadlines, so nothing important drifts.
  • Own user testing and feedback: recruit and onboard user cohorts, manage our testing support, and turn what users tell us into clear, prioritised input for the product.
  • Get product out the door: keep the roadmap moving, coordinate QA and release polish, and make sure what ships feels finished.
  • Lay the groundwork for go‑to‑market: onboarding, support, comms and the many small details a consumer launch will depend on.
  • Build the machine: tools, processes, suppliers, contractors, finance admin and, in time, hiring.
  • Use AI everywhere it helps: automate the repetitive, prototype workflows quickly and keep a three‑person team moving like a bigger one.

What success looks like in 12 months: Path has the product validation to support a significant funding round and begin go-to-market: retention and engagement hit the targets we agree together, users clearly love the product, and the company runs on a rhythm the founders trust.

Who you are

  • B2C experience. You've worked on a consumer product and understand what it takes to delight, onboard and keep real users.
  • Strong AI literacy. You use AI tools daily and confidently, know their limits, and instinctively reach for them to get more done.
  • A track record of execution. You can point to things you personally got over the line, often with limited resources.
  • Comfort as a generalist. You're happy switching between user calls, spreadsheets, release checklists and supplier emails in the same day.
  • High standards and follow-through. You notice the details others miss, and you finish what you start.

Nice to have

  • Experience taking a product from zero to one, ideally a consumer app from early testing to product‑market fit.
  • Exposure to iOS app releases and App Store processes.
  • Experience getting a product ready for go‑to‑market or a major funding round.

The practical bits

  • Location: London. Hybrid, with 1–2 days a week working from home and the rest together in person.
  • Reporting to: both founders.
  • Package: £65k–£100k salary plus meaningful early‑employee equity.
  • Start: as soon as possible.
