Mechanical Fitter based in the Ruislip area of West London - up to £42k salary DOE. On offer is a Mechanical Fitter role with long term job security, overtime, and a great benefits package!

This is a market leading company within the hire industry and as the Mechanical Fitter you will play a pivotal role in the success of a busy workshop.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining all construction plant equipment to an extremely high standard including diagnosing faults, servicing and repairs.
  • Equipment will include butt fusion, small tools, signal generators, pumps, and various other specialist construction plant equipment such as pipe welders.
  • Ensure all equipment is repaired efficiently and within the agreed time scale, fill out any paperwork correctly and offer assistance to the team as required.

  • Experience in positions such as Engineer, Mechanic, Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Fitter, Plant Engineer, Service Fitter, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Heavy Plant Engineer, or Plant Mechanic.
  • NVQ level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in plant or mechanical maintenance.
  • Previous mechanical experience within a mechanical workshop environment is a must for this role.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A full UK clean driving licence is essential.
