About the Role

As a Plant Engineer, you will carry out planned servicing, inspections, fault finding and repairs on a wide range of specialist plant equipment used on major infrastructure projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
  • Completing preventative maintenance schedules
  • Carrying out breakdown repairs both in the workshop and on customer sites
  • Ensuring equipment meets LOLER and PUWER requirements
  • Recording completed work accurately
  • Maintaining excellent health and safety standards
  • Travelling nationwide when required to support customer operations

About You

To be successful you should have:

  • Experience working as a Plant Engineer or maintaining heavy plant or specialist machinery
  • Good hydraulic, mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
  • A proactive approach to maintenance and problem solving
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel when required

To be successful in this role, you may have worked as a: Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Heavy Plant Engineer, Construction Plant Fitter, Mechanical Service Engineer, Workshop Plant Engineer, Rail Plant Engineer, Plant Maintenance Engineer, Mobile Service Technician.
