The Company:
A leading hire and sales company providing a wide range of machinery to the construction and related sectors to ensure they provide excellent customer service and satisfaction every time. This company is looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join their engineering team as an installation engineer, who will be able to keep up with the demands of the company.
The Job Role:
- Carry out installations, testing and any repairs on different types of equipment such as BMUs or cradles
- Work with schematics and drawings
- Travel to customer sites in and around London
- Develop a professional relationship with internal and external clients
- Ensure a high standard of Health and Safety for both colleagues and customers
- Complete all paperwork, time sheets and job cards efficiently within a given time scale
- There may be a requirement to cover an on call rota for emergency call outs
To be Successful:
- It would be ideal if you held an NVQ or City and Guilds qualification
- ECS Gold card would be an advantage
- Previous job roles include hoist installer, hoist engineer, installation engineer, elevator engineer, lift engineer, mast climbing installer, field service engineer, field service technician, or BMU engineer
- You will have previous experience installing, repairing, maintaining and servicing machinery such as cranes, BMU, lifting equipment, mast climbing, passenger hoists, construction hoists or elevators
