Responsibilities
- Performing routine servicing, fault diagnosis and repair on a range of MEWPs including scissor lifts, boom lifts and articulated platforms
- Conducting pre‑delivery, pre‑use and statutory inspections in full compliance with LOLER and PUWER requirements
- Identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults to a high standard
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance programmes to reduce equipment downtime and extend operational life
- Maintaining accurate and up to date records of all service activity, inspections and repairs completed
- Providing operator familiarisation and guidance to customers on the safe use of mobile elevating work platforms
- Supporting customers directly on site and attending breakdowns as required across UK locations and periodically on mainland Europe
- Assisting with workshop duties at the Hertfordshire base including inspections, testing and run repairs
- Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations at all times
