Our client would welcome applicants who can easily commute to the Sandhurst area or currently located in Sandhurst, Winnersh, Eversley, Finchhampstead, Crowthorne, Blackwater, Frimley, Farnborough, Woking, Wokingham, Bracknell, Bagshot, Camberley, Aldershot, Blackwell and surrounding areas

The Job Role of the Workshop Fitter:

  • You will be required to work within a busy workshop, maintaining and servicing a fleet of heavy plant machinery i.e diggers, dumpers, rollers, excavators etc
  • Maintenance will include PDIs, service, maintenance and repairs
  • You will be responsible for your own workload ensuring all machinery is fit for hire.
  • Adhere to health and safety at all times and ensure your area of work is free from hazards

To Be Successful as the Workshop Fitter:
You will have previous experience working as a workshop plant fitter, plant engineer, forklift engineer, agricultural engineer, HGV mechanic, mechanical engineer, hydraulic engineer, electrical engineer, workshop engineer, technician, vehicle mechanic, vehicle engineer, or diesel mechanic. You will ideally have knowledge of construction plant manufacturers including JCB, CAT, Volvo, Kubota, Hitachi, and Komatsu, however, this is not essential. You will have extensive experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs.
