Role responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all transport and fleet activities across a mixed fleet of approximately 38 vehicles, including vans, lorries, and cars.
- Manage MOTs, servicing, repairs, and general fleet maintenance.
- Act as the main point of contact for fleet accidents, insurance claims, and related paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme standards and audit requirements.
- Maintain accurate electronic records, receipts, certifications, and weekly vehicle checks.
- Allocate spare vehicles, manage vehicle access fobs, and oversee spare van upkeep.
- Communicate fleet behaviour concerns and compliance issues to senior colleagues.
- Coordinate external suppliers and service providers.
- Deliver toolbox talks focused on vehicle safety and best practice.
- Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Support ad hoc office-based projects as required.
