Responsibilities of the Plant Engineer include:

  • Carry out repairs on a range of plant equipment circa 10 tonnes.
  • Complete a range of servicing on dumpers, diggers, excavators etc.
  • Required to attend customer site breakdowns during busy periods.
  • Ensure all service records are filled out correctly and efficiently.

To be successful within this role, you will have previously worked as a workshop plant fitter, workshop plant engineer, plant engineer, tool fitter, test and run fitter, plant mechanic or have an engineering background with transferable skills.
