Role: Workshop / Mobile Plant Engineer Location: Corby Hours of Work: 40 hours per week 8am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday. Contract: Permanent Salary: £15.55 – £17 per hour, dependent upon experience. Any additional hours will be paid at time and half. The role Reporting to Workshop Manager the main purpose of the role is to service and repair a wide range of plant equipment and vehicles in accordance with Company and Manufacturers Service Schedules. As a Mobile Plant Engineer, you will be maintaining and supporting our fleet of plant equipment. Responding to breakdowns and carrying out preventative maintenance as required. Key Duties: Carry out scheduled Service Inspections and servicing and repairs in compliance with manufacturers specifications. Complete all relevant pre-hire checks and related paperwork. Carry out scheduled Servicing and Inspections on vehicles and plant in compliance with all Company Policies and Procedures Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and any other repairs on vehicles and plant. To conduct all activities in accordance with Company Policy and Procedures ensuring that the workplace, site and roadside are safe for you to carry out the work required and that you have taken the necessary precautions to ensure your safety and that of others affected by your actions. Complete Maintenance Records and Reports accurately and on time Correctly wear company issued PPE ensuring it is kept clean and serviceable at all times.
