Responsibilities of the Customer Service Coordinator:
- Build important relationships with internal and external clients
- Handle hiring, rehiring, and sourcing equipment from third-party suppliers
- Manage a fast-paced and busy hire desk
- Liaise with colleagues, depots, and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of equipment
- Resolve queries or claims professionally, ensuring all paperwork is completed and up to date
- Use CRM systems such as Syrinx, Inspire, or similar
Experience in plant hire, tool hire, powered access hire, accommodation hire, builders merchants, or specialist equipment hire industries is preferred but not essential. Applicants should have experience working in a high-volume call/email environment and may have held roles such as customer service advisor, coordinator, controller, hire desk controller, rental manager, hire negotiator, or sales controller.
