We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing plant hire business with an excellent reputation across the industry. Due to continued success, they are now looking to recruit an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join their team in Cannock.

About the Role

As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe delivery and collection of plant machinery to and from customer sites across the local area. You will represent the business professionally while ensuring equipment is delivered safely, on time, and in excellent condition.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Delivering and collecting plant machinery including dumpers, rollers, and excavators
  • Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring safe loading procedures
  • Securing machinery correctly for transport
  • Completing delivery paperwork and relevant documentation
  • Providing excellent customer service on site

About You

To be successful in this HGV Class 2 Driver role, you should have previous experience delivering plant machinery or working within the plant hire, construction, or related industries. You should have:
