About the Role - Heavy Plant Engineer
As a Heavy Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a varied fleet of heavy construction machinery, including excavators, dumpers, rollers and other plant equipment.
Working from the company's workshop near Aveley, your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing and maintaining heavy plant machinery.
- Diagnosing mechanical and hydraulic faults.
- Carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Identifying faults and completing effective repairs.
- Ensuring machinery is maintained to a high standard.
About You
To be successful as a Heavy Plant Engineer, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience working on heavy plant or agricultural machinery.
- Good mechanical and fault-finding abilities.
- Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing machinery.
- A practical, hands-on approach to engineering.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude and commitment to high standards.
