Patersons Quarries are an independent quarrying company based in Coatbridge, with sites across the central belt of Scotland. We supply a wide range of quarry products, ready-mix concrete, concrete blocks, and concrete bricks.

We are currently recruiting for a number of driver positions based at our site in Rigside, including:

  • Concrete Mixer Drivers
  • Tipper Drivers
  • Block Truck Drivers

Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will be driving vehicles to various sites across the central belt to deliver loads in a timely and efficient manner. You will have a safe and efficient approach to driving, ensuring that your vehicle is kept in good condition. You will also be required to complete daily safety checks and report any vehicle defects to the Transport Department.

Experience:

  • You must have a valid category C drivers licence or C+E licence.
  • You must have had experience on a mixer truck if applying for the Mixer Driver role.
  • You should have no more than 6 points on your licence.
  • Understanding of safe working practices.
  • Willing to adhere to health & safety regulations.

We require candidates to be able to work flexibly, as although the role is Monday to Friday, regular overtime work is a requirement due to the nature of the business. Weekend work is also available during busier periods. This role will either be based out of our Coatbridge Head Office or our Transport Site in Rigside.

Please note that the rate of pay is dependent on which type of driving role is undertaken.
