About The Role
We are looking for an experienced National Account Manager (FTC) to join our team. The purpose of the role is to deliver budgeted volume, revenue and margin in designated customers through execution of business plans focusing on core range, NPD listings and activation, filling distribution gaps and promotional activity. The role is accountable for negotiating mutually beneficial business plans with key customers to help deliver the above. This role will entail broad cross‑functional interface, including Category, Marketing, Commercial Finance, Demand Planning and Customer Services.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver budgeted financials across brands
- Develop compelling business plans for assigned customers
- Negotiate all JBPs and CPIs within agreed boundaries
- Accountable for the full P&L for designated customers
- Carefully manage trade spend to ensure full ROI
- Forecast monthly, quarterly and annually
- Accurately manage the internal set up of all customer prices and terms
- Document and control key account communication – pricing, promotions, range, coordination of category work where applicable
- Lead range review negotiations with support from the Category Manager
- Post‑analysis of activity and communication of relevant insight
- Serve as the internal face of designated customers, ensuring each department understands what is important
- Report weekly performance against budget, targets and forecast providing variance analysis
- Relevant account administration
- Plan and execute account marketing spend
- Cross‑functional project involvement both internally and externally
- Empowered to make day‑to‑day account decisions within boundaries
- Work with Controller to develop 2‑3 year growth strategy for the customer and channel

- Experience in managing food retailer accounts, either as an Account Manager or similar role
- Uses category insights to create a compelling selling story and to conduct reviews
