- Maintain, review, and update SHE documentation, ensuring all records, reports, and statutory documentation are completed accurately and on time.
- Monitor, analyse, and publish SHE performance data and KPIs to the site and wider network.
- Ensure appropriate PPE is available, correctly used, and effectively managed across the site.
- Deliver clear and effective SHE communications, including safety alerts, reports, and toolbox talks.
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the EHS Management System.
- Track and close out actions arising from SHE audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Support and facilitate internal and external SHE audits and regulatory visits.
- Administer the site Risk Assessment database, ensuring reviews are completed and compliance is maintained.
Other Responsibilities:
- Attend and, where required, lead site SHE and cross-functional meetings.
- Manage the site EcoLine e-learning system, ensuring training records are accurate and up to date.
- Deliver site inductions in line with the agreed rota.
- Carry out additional SHE-related duties as required to support the SHE Manager and site leadership team.
Who We Are Looking For:
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification (or actively working towards).
- Environmental qualification or evidence of working towards one.
- Proven SHE / EHS experience within an FMCG manufacturing environment, ideally on a large, high-volume site (500+ colleagues).
- Strong Continuous Improvement and change management capability, with experience embedding SHE standards in fast-paced, operational settings.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, challenge, and coach leaders and frontline teams to drive behavioural and cultural change.
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence delivering SHE messages, toolbox talks, and updates across all levels of the organisation.
