We operate eight bakeries across the UK and employ around 4,000 colleagues. About The Role

We’re looking for a HR Partner to join our amazing Batley bakery on a 12-month FTC. This role is responsible for delivering an efficient and effective HR service across all shifts, ensuring seamless support for the business. You will partner with managers and employees to provide guidance on the interpretation and application of company HR policies, procedures, employment law, and best practices. Supporting the HR team, you will drive strategic objectives that contribute to overall business success. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing and implementing short- to medium-term people plans, ensuring workforce planning and delivery align with organizational goals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Working cooperatively with the HRBP and Professional People Partner, escalating queries as and when required.
  • Providing support, advice and coaching on all people related issues.
  • Development and delivery of business and HR related projects including employee engagement plans.
  • Supporting Employee Relations and Union matters to drive positive outcomes.
  • Proactively line managing and working alongside the team to deliver HR strategy and support business strategy including workforce and succession planning delivery.
  • Supporting ER case work such as absence reviews, probations, welfare and long term sickness, disciplinaries.
  • Supporting with the Employee Forum.

Who We Are Looking For

  • CIPD Qualified to Level 3 or above or equivalent degree/experience.
  • Excellent ICT skills and sound knowledge of HR systems, processes and legislation.
  • Experience of working within an HR environment.
  • Experience in Human Resources.
