Paternoster Chop House & Tavern, formerly known as the First Dates restaurant, is now located just a stone's throw away from St Paul’s Cathedral. As well as dining in the restaurant there is also a striking outdoor terrace ideal for parties and events. The modern British menu is based on London’s famous Victorian Chop Houses and offers a seasonally changing menu of hearty portions and classic British dishes.

A bit about what you will be doing:

We are looking for a Head Bartender to join our vibrant team at Paternoster Chop House & Tavern! In this guest-facing role, you'll be the friendly face behind the bar, delighting guests with your warmth, charm, and genuine hospitality. Building rapport and fostering relationships will be at the heart of what you do, ensuring every guest feels welcome and valued. With your knowledge of classic cocktails and wines, you'll craft delicious drinks and provide recommendations, enhancing the overall guest experience. As a Head Bartender, you will support the training and mentorship of more junior team members, sharing your skills and knowledge where possible.
