Patek Philippe is the last family-owned independent Genevan Watch Manufacturer. We are currently recruiting to fill the following full-time vacancy in our UK Service Centre in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire.

The purpose of this role: You will work within our busy workshop and will be responsible for testing watches in line with quality control procedures and preparing completed watches for dispatch, adhering to and respecting the Company’s standards at all times.

Main Duties:

  • Responsible for coordinating the testing of watches on completion of service/repair from the workshop.
  • Responsible for returning watches back for adjustments.
  • Able to interpret various test results during testing procedure to determine if watches pass or fail.
  • Keeping a record of repairs on Excel and database.
  • Responsible for sealing and packaging watches ready for dispatch after completion of testing.
  • Liaising with the workshop team, customer service team and management.
  • Contributing to the smooth running of the Quality Control function within the business.
  • Responsible for adapting testing procedures as and when required whilst still adhering to Company guidelines and tolerances.
  • Using all Microsoft packages including Word, Excel & Outlook.

Qualities & Skills Required:

  • Attention to detail with excellent numeracy and literacy skills; accuracy is critical.
  • Well-rounded organisational skills and the ability to work well on your own initiative or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage in pressured situations.
  • Technically minded with a proven track record of working meticulously & accurately.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents with a technical aspect.
  • Self-motivated and team oriented.
  • SAP knowledge is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft packages including Word, Excel & Outlook.
