About Us

Since 2016, Patchwork Health has been on a mission to make truly flexible and sustainable working a reality for all healthcare staff. Their fully integrated workforce management solution helps optimise outcomes for organisations, managers, staff and patients alike. Built by a team of dedicated healthcare veterans, and co-created with the NHS, their technology and services have been embraced by over 100 healthcare sites to date.

Patchwork offers a range of different solutions, including temporary staff banks, which enable organisations to source temporary staff from their own pool of approved workers; 'collaborative staff banks', which help healthcare organisations team up with others in the same region to widen and share their temporary staffing pools; an innovative new rostering solution which enables more flexible, sustainable staffing for permanent healthcare staff; and an Agency Manager which makes it easier for managers to select appropriate temporary staff from external agencies when necessary. Patchwork Insights also provides managers with comprehensive data oversight, to monitor staffing trends, shift fill rates and pay rate escalations, and reliably plan ahead to prevent staffing gaps.

Patchwork Health has been recognised as HSJ's 2022 Staffing Solution of the Year, and have recently received the prestigious HSJ Partnership Award and the Spectator's Economic Innovator of the Year Award.

The Role

At Patchwork, we're on a mission to make healthcare work better for everyone.

As a Clinical Engagement Specialist, you'll play a key role in helping NHS clinicians successfully adopt Patchwork's products and embed them into their day-to-day practice. Working closely with clinical teams throughout the implementation process, you'll help ensure they have a positive experience, feel supported throughout their journey and gain maximum value from our solutions.

This is a highly collaborative, customer-facing role where you'll work across multiple NHS organisations, building trusted relationships with clinicians, gathering feedback and partnering closely with our Implementation, Product and wider customer-facing teams. Your insights will help shape successful implementations and continuously improve the experience we deliver for our customers.

The majority of your time will be spent on-site with our NHS customers, supporting clinicians where they work. As a result, this role involves regular travel and an expectation of being on-site at client locations for around four days each week.

  • Contribute to clinical engagement plans, training materials and communications, tailoring content to meet the needs of different clinical audiences.
  • Support workshops, onboarding sessions, training and customer meetings where clinical expertise adds value.

Product & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Share feedback and insights from clinicians to help shape product improvements, implementation approaches and internal ways of working.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Product, Revenue and other operational teams to help deliver successful outcomes for our customers.
  • Continuously develop your knowledge of Patchwork's products, NHS workforce challenges and the wider healthcare landscape.

  • The ability to build strong relationships and establish credibility with clinicians and operational stakeholders.

  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Tech savvy and adaptable, with confidence using new technologies and systems, alongside a good understanding of data quality and CRM platforms.
