Puddleducks Nursery, Chalford, Stroud, Gloucestershire, GL6 8LH is seeking a Nursery Assistant for a full-time position, working an 8.5-hour day (8:30am – 5:00pm) during school term times. The role includes working during holiday clubs (2 weeks in April and 3 weeks in August) and 5 inset days, with a 30-minute paid lunch break. Job share will be considered.
We are looking for a kind, warm, and enthusiastic practitioner who is passionate and committed to supporting young children aged between 12 months up to school age to achieve their personal goals while having fun. As a qualified Early Years Educator, you will work in an established, dedicated, fun, and experienced team in our spacious and well-equipped indoor and outdoor learning environments.
You will need to hold a recognised Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification and GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths. A minimum of 1 year’s experience of working with young children and excellent communication skills are essential.
