PATA is a values driven charity committed to giving every child strong foundations for life through high quality, inclusive early years provision. Our PATA Managed Groups (PMGs) are community based early years settings that support children and families across Gloucestershire.
30 hours per week, 43 weeks per year Permanent Based in Gloucester, with travel across Gloucestershire £34,000 - £40,000 pro rata, Dependent on experience.
We are looking for an experienced, values led early years leader to join us as Head of PATA Managed Groups. This senior leadership role provides strategic oversight of our PMGs, leading on quality, safeguarding, compliance, and sustainability across currently five settings, with potential for future growth.
You will line manage Early Years Managers, act as Nominated Individual for Ofsted and Designated Safeguarding Lead for the organisation, and play a key role in shaping organisational strategy through insight from front line practice. The role is both strategic and hands on. You will be visible across settings, confident providing professional challenge, and committed to developing others while maintaining high standards and clear accountability.
You will bring strong safeguarding expertise, a sound understanding of the EYFS and Ofsted framework, and the confidence to lead, support, and challenge senior practitioners. You will be motivated by making a real difference for children, families, and communities.
