Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover – 15 Months)

Newcastle upon Tyne

Up to £34,000 per annum

At Pat Robson & Co Ltd, we’ve spent over 28 years helping people across the North East buy, sell, let and manage property. We’re proud of our local expertise, strong reputation and personal approach – and now we’re looking for a talented Marketing Manager to join our team for a 15‑month maternity cover contract.

This is a hands‑on, varied role where no two days are the same. From creating scroll‑stopping social content and video campaigns to improving SEO performance and building local partnerships, you’ll play a key role in shaping our brand and growing our audience.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Creating engaging content across:
    • Social media
    • Videography
    • Email marketing
    • Blogs
    • Website content
    • Print materials
  • Driving digital performance through:
    • SEO optimisation and keyword research
    • Wordpress management
    • Analytics and reporting
    • Google Ads and paid campaigns
  • Building relationships with:
    • Local businesses
    • Universities
    • Sponsorship partners
    • Industry contacts
  • Supporting the wider business by:
    • Planning and delivering marketing campaigns
    • Attending and managing company events
    • Monitoring market trends and competitors
    • Working closely with senior management on strategy and content performance
    • Keeping up to date with industry news and legislation

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is creative, organised, proactive and confident managing multiple projects at once.

You’ll ideally have:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in Marketing or a related subject
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills
  • Excellent videography and editing skills
  • Experience creating content that boosts engagement
  • Good knowledge of SEO and analytics
  • Experience planning and publishing SEO‑optimised content
  • Experience using Google Analytics and Google Ads
  • Experience managing across all social media platforms
  • Confidence interpreting data and presenting results
  • Property industry experience is a bonus — but not essential. Full training will be provided.
