Launch your property career with a leading Newcastle estate agent. This Sales and Lettings Negotiator role offers progression, uncapped OTE and industry qualifications in a thriving property market.

Full-time, permanent position:

  • 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday (one day per week until 6.30pm)
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays, 9.00am – 4.00pm

Competitive basic with ÂŁ26,000 - ÂŁ32,000 OTE.

The Role

Reporting to the Assistant Head of Sales and Lettings, the Sales and Lettings Negotiator will play a key role in driving residential property sales and lettings across Newcastle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Registering applicants
  • Answering enquiries by phone and email
  • Matching applicants with properties based on their requirements
  • Ensuring all GDPR processes are carried out correctly
  • Sending out property details to applicants
  • Contacting vendors and completing AML
  • Booking and conducting sales and lettings viewings
  • Providing correct notice to tenanted/occupied properties
  • Negotiating offers on properties for sale and let
  • Agreeing sales for properties, requesting proof of funds, supporting documents and solicitors' details
  • Working to agreed targets and deadlines and reporting on daily results to the Assistant Head of Sales and Lettings
  • Keeping up to date with operational updates and other company communications
  • Being aware of legislative changes within the sales and lettings industry and within the company
  • Liaising directly with the Vendors and Landlords on a weekly basis
  • Exceeding customer service expectations
  • Completing tasks set as part of a negotiator's daily role

What you will need:

  • Full UK drivers' license
  • Ideally, a property background with experience of the lettings industry; however, this is not essential as full training will be given
  • An ability to provide excellent customer service
  • A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A passion for people and property
  • Ability to thrive in a busy and demanding environment
