We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the front‑of‑house team in delivering an exceptional dining experience. This role is all about energy, theatre, and attention to detail, ensuring the restaurant is always set for a flawless, show‑stopping service. You’ll bring a deep knowledge of the menu and drinks offering, exceptional communication skills, and a natural ability to lead and inspire others. From busy evenings on the floor to daily team briefings and training, you’ll set the tone and pace of the restaurant, leading by example and keeping both guests and staff engaged, happy, and motivated.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing day‑to‑day operations, leading service with confidence, and ensuring every guest receives a warm, personal, and professional experience.
- Consistently delivering on high standards of hospitality, balancing strong operational knowledge with the creative flair that sets the mood and energy in the room.
- Working closely with the Head Chef and senior team on service, contributing to ongoing training and development, driving service standards, and playing a key role in hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
- Ensuring the restaurant is always immaculate and service‑ready, from lights and music to table settings and staff presence.
- Managing essential admin tasks including rota planning, supplier orders, banking, stock control, and health & safety compliance.
About You:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar leadership role in a fast‑paced, high‑end restaurant.
- A strong communicator who brings enthusiasm, clarity, and direction to the team.
- Confident leading a busy service and creating an engaging, theatrical dining environment.
- Deep understanding of premium food and drink, with a passion for menu knowledge and guest education.
- Proactive, hands‑on and solutions‑focused with excellent attention to detail.
- Genuinely passionate about people, hospitality, and team development.
- Reliable, consistent, and ready to lead by example every single day.
- Working knowledge of HACCP and Health & Safety standards, with strong admin and organisational skills.
