Pasture Cardiff is our bold second chapter — a true lockdown baby that’s grown into one of the city’s most vibrant dining destinations. Nestled in the heart of Cardiff, just steps from the iconic Cardiff Castle, the restaurant is built for theatre, energy, and unforgettable nights. Our open kitchen puts live‑fire cooking at the heart of the experience, with charcoal grills and dry‑ageing cabinets on full display. On weekends, our resident DJ keeps the energy high late into the evening — because at Pasture, dining is a show, not just a meal. We proudly source our beef from pasture‑raised cattle across Wales and the South West, working closely with local farmers and producers to bring the best of the region to the table. Our beautiful terrace in the city centre adds a unique alfresco edge — perfect for cocktails, people‑watching, and those long summer nights.

We’re looking for passionate, positive, and driven individuals to join our Cardiff crew — people who thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment and are ready to be part of something special. Sound like you? Come fire things up at Pasture Cardiff. We’re on the hunt for a reliable, energetic bar back to support our talented bartenders and keep the good times flowing. If you're hardworking, organised, and thrive behind the scenes, this is the role for you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting bartenders with prep work: slicing garnishes, preparing mixers, and stocking the bar.
  • Keeping glassware clean and ready with efficient glass washing.
  • Restocking fridges, spirits, and supplies throughout service.
  • Assisting with bar close‑downs and ensuring everything is spotless and ready for the next day.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and well‑stocked bar environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A team player who works quickly and efficiently under pressure.
  • High standards for cleanliness and organisation.
  • A strong work ethic and can‑do attitude – no task too big or small.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
  • Great communication skills and a passion for supporting others.

Benefits at Pasture:

  • The hourly rate shown includes a competitive share of Tronc: 100% of Tronc is distributed to the staff.
  • 28 days holiday – including bank holidays.
  • 20% off food and drink in our restaurants for up to six people.
  • Opportunity for growth and progression.
  • Long service benefits.
  • 1 day of paid volunteering per year, with a charity of your choice.
  • Regular staff trips are arranged to our farm and to our suppliers.
  • Employee assistance program provided by Hospitality Action.
  • Enhanced Maternity & Paternity Pay.
  • Wagestream.
