Pasture Bristol is a fine‑dining restaurant with a focus on quality, craft and connection. We source the best native beef, dry‑age cuts, and cook with live fire to create memorable dishes. Our team is passionate, tight‑knit and dedicated to delivering unforgettable dining experiences nightly.

As a Sous Chef you will be a solid support for the senior chefs, a leader in your own right, trusted to run services, manage the team, and take real ownership when the Head Chef is off. You will lead from the front, calm, clear, and hands‑on, helping the team stay sharp, focused and proud. You will coach junior chefs, share knowledge and give actionable feedback.

Responsibilities
  • Lead busy services with control, energy and a clear head
  • Set the tone and pace for the team, always leading from the front
  • Support the Head Chef with kitchen operations, standards and structure
  • Coaching, developing and motivating junior chefs daily
  • Manage sections, prep, cleanliness and quality across the kitchen
  • Takes ownership when the Head Chef is off, running the kitchen with confidence
  • Work closely with FOH to deliver a smooth, high‑energy guest experience
  • Help drive creativity, consistency and pride across every plate
