Shift Supervisor (New Chelsea Restaurant!)

Description
We are looking for a passionate Shift Supervisor who can help us create exceptional dining experiences at our new Chelsea fresh pasta restaurant. In this role you will oversee operations during your shift, foster a positive environment, and help showcase our authentic Italian cuisine to customers.
Opening Hours
- Monday-Thursday: 11:00 am – 11:30 pm
- Friday: 11:00 am – 12:00 am
- Sunday: 11:00 am – 10:30 pm
Responsibilities
- In charge of the restaurant floor, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
- Uphold cleanliness, food safety, and operational procedures in front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house areas.
- Oversee the kitchen and dining area, ensuring every dish that leaves the kitchen is a masterpiece.
- Act as the go‑to person for all front‑ and back‑of‑house staff.
- Proactively address challenges and make quick, effective decisions to ensure seamless service.
- Engage warmly with guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service throughout their visit.
- Train new team members and conduct ongoing training sessions to keep the crew sharp.
- Manage shifts and time‑off requests to keep the restaurant fully staffed.
- Handle cash and reconcile transactions with precision and honesty.
- Assist with budget planning and find smart ways to control costs.
- Conduct regular food and health & safety checks and act if anything needs fixing.
- Maintain a positive vibe, even during busy shifts.
Qualifications
- Solid experience as a Shift Supervisor or similar role in hospitality.
- Natural leader who loves motivating and guiding a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
- Genuine passion for great food and hospitality.
- Attention to detail and pride in delivering perfection.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
