The Marketing & Brand Director (MBD) is a senior leader within the Pasta Evangelists team, responsible for steering the brand’s evolution from a digital-first pioneer into a dominant multi-channel restaurant, hospitality and franchise power. Reporting directly to our Co-Founder & CMO Finn, you will lead the Marketing department on a day-to-day basis, overseeing the delivery of integrated marketing and advertising campaigns that drive sales across our restaurant estate. You will work closely with our franchise partners to ensure their restaurants, as well as our equity restaurants, are as successful as possible.
What you’ll do at Pasta Evangelists:
- You’ll run our Marketing & Brand department on a day-to-day basis, managing most members of the team & overseeing our communications calendar.
- You’ll oversee all standard restaurant/LSM marketing channels including email/CRM, social/influencer, digital ads (Meta, TripAdvisor, Google, etc.) and more.
- You’ll devise winning campaigns to ensure our restaurants generate strong weekly sales, tapping into key calendar moments like the World Cup or World Pasta Day.
- You’ll be in constant touch with our franchise partners & restaurant General Managers, including chairing a weekly sales call, to understand their needs and plan/allocate their marketing budgets.
- You’ll work with our designer to produce high quality assets for our restaurants and advertising/brand campaigns.
- You’ll work on our restaurant menu ensuring it is structured and designed to maximise revenue per cover.
- You’ll manage our PR agency, setting the overall strategy and coverage targets and ensuring objectives are met.
- You’ll work with external partners including Ocado and Harrods to maximise our sales on those channels.
Who you are:
You possess extensive experience in a senior marketing role within a restaurant group, franchise, or high-growth hospitality business. You have a deep technical understanding of how to balance high-street retail marketing with the complexities of a D2C digital subscription model. You are comfortable navigating P&Ls, interpreting complex data sets, and holding external agencies accountable to strict performance targets. You have an uncompromising eye for detail and a passion for craftsmanship, capable of maintaining a premium brand positioning during a period of aggressive national scaling.
